AP Minister For Raising Awareness On Cancer

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav on Tuesday said the State Government is committed to improve healthcare infrastructure to close the care gap to reduce the threat posed by cancer. In his message on X, he said : "On WorldCancerDay, we reaffirm our commitment to raising awareness, ensuring early detection, and strengthening cancer care across Andhra Pradesh." He said: :With improved healthcare infrastructure and government initiatives, we strive for a future where cancer is no longer a threat. Together, we can close the care gap."

Awareness event

Manipal Hospital, Vijayawada, a leader in comprehensive cancer care, organised a cancer awareness event on World Cancer Day 2025. The event, which brought together leading oncology experts, cancer survivors, and hospital staff, underscored the hospital’s unwavering commitment in raising awareness about the deadly disease, promoting early detection, and advancing multidisciplinary treatment.
